Cookies and Tracking
This website uses Google Analytics to count visits and to see which pages people actually read. It sets cookies in your browser and collects information that does not identify you, such as:

That is the whole of it. We use it to work out what is worth writing more of. We do not learn your name or your email address from it, and we do not try to work out who you are. Google’s own handling of what it collects is governed by Google’s privacy policy.

A few posts embed a player from another service, such as a YouTube video or a podcast episode. The YouTube player loads in its privacy-enhanced mode, which sets no cookies until you press play. When you play any embedded media, the service hosting it may set its own cookies, governed by its own privacy policy.
Third-Party Links
If you click on a link to a third-party website, such as a store or external platform (e.g., BookFunnel), their privacy policy will govern your interactions on those sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party websites.
